Only for smaller hamsters! : JW Pet Petville Habitat Palace Small Animal Habitat
Well, I was very excited to get this cage. My hamster, Brooklynn, desperately needed a new one. Anyway, when it was delivered, everything was looking alright, nothing broken, etc. But it was so hard to put together. For some reason, the pieces seemed like they just wouldn't fit together. Also, when looking at the first review, since the reviewer said that her hamster was on the larger side, I thought that Brooklynn would be fine and fit she would fit mostly everything because she is literally the biggest hamster I've ever seen. I was wrong, the wheel is too small, she falls off of it, and the holes for her to maneuver around in the cage are too small as well, so she doesn't even bother with them. The cage seems to be set up for a dwarf hamster, but you do get ONE tube that has a choice of being made for Syrian or larger hamsters, or dwarf hamsters. I used the tube used for Syrian hamsters and that is the one thing that she fits in. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with how the cage came (the way it was packed) but I'm not satisfied with how my hamster fits in the cage.
